58. A Year of Self-Compassion—Nurture Your Mind, Body, and Spirit with Brigitte Shipman

In this week's episode, I talk about having and cultivating self-compassion to be more forgiving, loving, compassionate, understanding, and kinder as a human being to ourselves and to others.

I explain what self-compassion means to me and what it might look like, and talk about the 3 areas I am focusing on to cultivate self-compassion:

- Paying attention to self-talk
- Being kinder to myself when I fall short
- Nurture mind, body, and spirit in the form of self-care

I also talk about rest and "adult recess" as forms of self-care.

I am starting a year of self-compassion and inviting you to join me on this journey.

I end with one question to ask yourself to reflect on where you are as you begin this journey to self-love and self-compassion.
