7. How I Moved Through Pain of Autism Diagnosis of My Son and Used It to Advocate for Him

In this episode of Mother’s Guide Through Autism podcast I discuss the process of moving through the pain of getting an autism disgnosis of my son.

It was devastating news to receive as a mother. I went through shock, numbness, grief, and I thought the pain I felt in my heart was going to kill me. But I moved through it and allowed it to pull me into becoming a mother warrior. Advocacy for my son began.

Pain can be a tool to use when we are in the darkness of learning that our child has been diagnosed with a life long disability. Learn the tools that I have discovered through being a life coach, teacher, a mother guide.
